David King is a Film and Video Editor located in Portland, Oregon.

David is a film and video editor specializing in commercials, corporate video, branded content, and promos.

With an editing background that began by cutting film on a Steenbeck flatbed and transitioned to the digital world of Avid Media Composer Final Cut Pro, and Premiere, post production has always been his passion. The challenge of taking raw footage and sound, combining them with killer music and graphics and creating a cohesive and entertaining stories to share with the masses, is what gets him out of bed every day.

David has had a film nominated for a Student Academy Award, won numerous categories of the 48 Hour Film Project, including Best Film in 2008, as well as a Bronze Telly Award.

He is currently based in Portland, Oregon after living and working in San Francisco, Los Angeles and Madison, Wisconsin.
